Living the Christian life here on this earth does not guarantee us an easy life. Rather the word tells us we will have trials and tribulations!! However, it does promise us, with Jesus as our Savior, we will live in eternity with Christ and Heaven will surely be worth the trials here!! So how do we become a Christian? While celebrating Jesus’ salvation, we discover that our condition is worse than we think and better than we know.
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. Revelation 22:12
Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” Matt.25:34
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Although Kyle couldn’t talk and express himself in many ways, we believe He had a special connection to Jesus! As his mother, we listened to Praise & worship every day as we drove. I would pray aloud and have him be my buddy in prayer as the bible says in Matt 18:20- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Kyle seemed to have an understanding of his calling and we talked about that more in recent years…we felt called to love others for Jesus. I talked to Kyle about talking to Jesus & that Jesus understood his words & communication that I didn’t understand.
In the end of 2021 & beginning of 2022 I used the voice recorder on my phone to record some of my devotionals & some scriptures for Kyle. I also recorded a prayer a friend wrote just for him. Many times as i was getting him washed up & dressed in the morning i would turn on the devotionals for Kyle because i knew there was no way he would allow me to sit & read them to him. Some days we listened to them as we drove. We also had the scripture on CD that I played often during the day or night in Kyles room to build him up in the Lord!
Special thanks to my sister, Anne, who somehow understood a mother’s heart to just need a visual of her boy with Jeus. Thank you, Sage, for all the time you put into this beautiful piece! Ill forever treasure this!
