I don’t even know where to start. I just know that Dr Myers was one of the biggest blessings in our lives. Kyle was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart condition the doctors are familiar with but in Kyles case, with all the other birth defects, it required a lot of care. Dr Myers was there for us from the early days and even though Kyle wasn’t a patient of his after he completed his second heart surgery at age 3 he always stayed in touch, and he pulled more than one favor for us. We are forever grateful to God for Dr Myers for the part he played in Kyles healing journey and also in guiding us through many decisions in the 24 years of Kyles life. As I mentioned, he was only Kyles doctor through those first 3 years of 2 heart surgeries but as you’ll see in the pictures his friendship went well past those years. Dr Myers often stopped by at the Christmas party to say hi and catch up on Kyles life. He also stopped by on several occasions when Kyle was in the hospital for other reasons. To the very end he remembered Kyle by name. There are stories I could tell & hopefully I’ll be able to someday. Thank you, Dr. Myers, for always seeing Kyle as any other patient, for talking to him, seeing his value here on earth, never putting limitations on him and always supporting his momma as well! I am forever grateful!!!
